2016 KICK FOR CURES
Ashley
Illinois Shotokan Karate Clubs (ISKC) is hosted our annual Kicks for Cures Kick-A-Thon fundraiser at Harper College on Sunday, August 14, 2016 and raised over $65,000 for various causes supported by the Illinois Shotokan Booster Club, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1983.
Students from 75 park districts around the Chicagoland area where Illinois Shotokan Karate Clubs provides karate instruction participated in the fundraiser to help give financial assistance to charities such as Make-A-Wish, Autism Speaks, Michael J. Fox Foundation, Augie's Quest, the Alzheimer'sAssociation among others.
"We are proud to continue our tradition of showing our students and their families the importance of giving back to those less fortunate," said John DiPasquale, the Illinois Shotokan Karate Clubs founder. "Kicks for Cures provides a fun event that raises vital funds for a range of excellent causes."
Our goal is to raise $100,000 and our virtual fundraiser is still going on through December 31st, 2016. All donations are tax deductible.
